  click me Iconography is an important part of any film it allows the audience to easily identify tropes of the genre. It can also allow the audience to understand the story more easily.

 We had a lesson on lighting so we could practice different styles for the movie we are going to shoot. This allowed us to see what our ideas would look like. 

The thriller genre can actually apply to many films. Often thrillers are hybrids with something else like action or mystery. My favourite movie Six Underground is an action thriller  You can also get psychological thrillers like Fractured. This then raises the question of what is a thriller and how we classify a movie as a thriller. The thriller genre is broad for a movie to be classed as a thriller the movie must create a feeling of suspense this is why some people refer to thrillers as suspense movies, this is why it is such a broad genre because many movies create a feeling of suspense.  how to class a thriller? People think classing a thriller is easy because you just wait to feel suspense however because suspense is a feeling that means it is different for each person. So to class a movie you have to look at four parts; characters, plot, setting, and story.
