looking at different Thriller introductions

 From researching many thriller introductions I have found a pattern that most of them follow:-



1 They establish the setting and introduce the characters.

2 Establish an equilibrium.

3 Knock your film out of equilibrium.

4 Spend time trying to fix equilibrium.

5 Fix the equilibrium.

6 Movie ends.



What is equilibrium?


An equilibrium is a balance where all is right in the movies world. The way thrillers work is that they knock it off balance usually by a disaster happening and then spend the rest of the movie trying to restore the balance.
